Thank you to everyone who was part of our 25th anniversary conference this spring. We had a grand total of 612 guests – another record for the Housing Ohio conference! This reassures us that we made the right decision to move to a larger venue next year, although we will greatly miss our friends at the Sheraton.

We covered a lot of ground during the four plenaries, 30 workshops, and four full-day Housing Institute sessions. Most of the speakers’ presentations and handouts are now available to download from our website on the Conference Materials page.

The feedback we received on the evaluation forms was excellent and informative. Ninety-seven percent of the 235 submissions we received reported their overall conference experience was “positive,” 3% rated it “neutral,” and nobody said “negative.”

Mark your calendars now for next year’s conference on April 13 – 15, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. And feel free to send us your suggestions for keynote speakers, workshop topics, and anything else. If you’d like to present at next year’s conference, Josh Johnson, our training & technical assistance coordinator, will send out a request for workshop proposals in the fall.

We would like to extend a special thank you to all of our plenary speakers – Sen. Sherrod Brown, Ohio Development Services Agency Director Lydia Mihalik, Amanda Anderi, of Funders Together to End Homelessness, and our own Bill Faith. And thank you to all our presenters, sponsors, hotel staff and board members. Without the support of these generous individuals and organizations, Housing Ohio 2019 would not have been possible.

We hope to see you at Housing Ohio 2020!
