COHHIO is pleased to introduce two new law students to the 2019-2020 Housing Law Internship Program!

Elizabeth Lewis and Meredith Bray will work primarily with COHHIO’s Fair and Affordable Housing Coordinator Joe Maskovyak, Esq., one of Ohio’s foremost experts on housing law. They will help respond to calls and emails to the Housing Information Line (1-888-485-7999) and assist Joe with training duties related to fair housing and the federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA).

Elizabeth is a second-year law student at the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University. She earned her undergraduate degree in international affairs from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, and grew up in Dayton.

Originally from Louisville, Meredith has a BA in Political Science and History from Western Kentucky University and is now entering her third year at Moritz College of Law. She previously volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus (LASC), where she worked with the Public Benefits team. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys playing beach volleyball and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Thank you Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing and Ohio State University Moritz College of Law for supporting COHHIO’s Housing Law Internship Program!
