Kroger recently launched a new recruitment effort, reaching out to agencies that serve people experiencing homelessness, those with disabilities and other employment challenges.
Job applicants who don’t have access to a computer may contact Kerri Larson, Kroger’s recruitment sourcing specialist, to help them schedule a time with a local store’s management team to help them submit an online job application.
After six months of employment, Kroger part-time employees are eligible for healthcare, retirement benefits, discounts, and more. Associates can also apply for tuition reimbursements for up to $21,000 ($3,500 annually) to use toward any continuing education or development opportunity through their Feed Your Future program.
Kroger’s recruitment team will also partner with local homeless and housing agencies to publicize job opportunities through job fairs and other events.
