The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act of 2020 provides significant resources and flexibilities for many programs, including Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) programs, to aid in moving people out of homelessness and into permanent housing. These CARES Act resources, in particular, provide communities the opportunity to scale up RRH programs and house more people than ever before.
This RRH Training Series will review existing RRH rules and flexibilities, as well as the rules and flexibilities offered by CARES Act funding, with a focus on maximizing opportunities to ramp up RRH efforts and program capacity. Provider and community examples will be highlighted whenever possible.
