COHHIO has had great help this fall from several capable interns – thank you Patrick Woodruff, Stephen Crouch and Matthew Stuneck!
Patrick, who is in his senior year at Ohio State University, just completed his fall social work internship with COHHIO. Patrick surveyed shelters throughout the Balance of State Continuum of Care to assess their overdose readiness. This data will inform our efforts to improve the homeless system’s response to the opiate crisis.
Matthew (left), a Kent State University political science major enrolled in KSU’s Columbus Program in State Issues, and Stephen (right), who is majoring in urban planning at the University of Cincinnati, have been supporting COHHIO’s federal advocacy work to save affordable housing incentives and improve the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development budget.
