With focus on the Ohio Landlord-Tenant Act, we examine tenant rights and remedies (and obstacles to utilizing them) with regard to such common issues as conditions problems, lease violations, unlawful entry, security deposits, predatory lease terms, discrimination, early lease termination, tenant organizing and policy advocacy, landlord retaliation and eviction. The workshop will provide legal information and discuss strategies utilized by individual tenants and tenant organizations.
